Baron Custom Accessories Kickback Riser Set for Cruiser Bikes $100.76 . Baron Custom Accessories Kickback Riser Set for Cruiser Bikes Kickback Risers provides immediate relief to those stretching to reach their handlebars. Baron's 4 inch risers provide approximately 1.5 inches of pullback. This repositioning of the rider's grip point reduces the stress and pain most riders feel in their neck back and shoulders. Also by relocating the bars closer to the rider the motorcycle becomes much easier to steer and control. Each riser has its own individual stylish cap with mounting hardware which lightens the look of the front end and allows mounting of a tachometer or other accessory. Installs on most bikes with a 1 inch handlebar clamping area and works with most stock control lines and cables with simple re-routing on most models. 1/2 inch diameter mount bolts allow these risers to mount in most triple trees. Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 Rear Wire Kit $249.95 Once you have your Di2 switches, be it road or time trial dual control and satellite switches, you'll need to finish the job with two Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 wiring kits -- this Shimano EW-7970 for the rear (lower) harness and SM-EW79A for the front (upper) harness. The Di2 Rear Wire Kit, EW-7970, has long enough wires to reach the derailleurs and the battery pack. It plugs into the five-pin connector below "Junction A" on the front harness, which plugs into the shifters. For the rear harness, there are three different harness lengths. The smallest will fit on bikes from 36cm and larger. And the largest will fit bikes up to 66cm. Shimano tells us the medium kit will fit most bikes -- being that there is a cable wind on "Junction B" that is positioned below the bottom bracket where you can wrap up to 120mm of cable slack. The medium seems to fit bikes up to 58cm in size, though that should only be taken as a rough guide. To determine the best size external harness for your bike, Shimano recommends measuring from the bottom of the bottom bracket shell to the back of the bottom of the head tube. Call this measurement "B." Then measure from that same point on the bottom of the head tube to the bottom of the handlebar next to the stem. Call this measurement "A." Add A+B-30 to get X, the size needed. The Small is 770mm long and handles measurements from 650-770mm. The Medium is 830mm long and can handle measurements from 710-830mm. The Large measures 890mm in length and can take care of measurements from 770-890mm. If you have a bike that's designed to have an internal wire through the down tube and have the battery mounted under the bottom bracket, select the Short Cradle version. Likewise, if you're bike frame is Di2 specific and built for the wires to run completely inside the frame, select the Internal version. Both the Short Cradle and Internal harnesses will accommodate the largest frame sizes. When you look at each kit, it seems like there are four wires. |

Chris King Road Bottom Bracket - Shimano $134.95 A fortunate few companies are market leaders. Rarer still are market obliterators. These companies are so dominant and worthy of their marketshare and mindshare we sometimes wonder why their competition bothers. And no company obliterates quite like Chris King. Is there a single more iconic product in the history of bikes than a Chris King Nothreadset? We think not. In its precision and its durability, the Nothreadset sets the standard for quality in the bike industry -- regardless of what component you're talking about. In unveiling their bottom bracket, Chris King brings their unparalleled standards to the drivetrain for the very first time. It's designed for any Shimano crankset, most notably the Dura Ace FC-7900, Dura Ace FC-7800, and Ultegra SL FC-6600. It's compatible with double, triple, and compact Shimano cranksets, provided that it's a system with an external bottom bracket (read: any Shimano 10-speed crankset). It will also work with FSA and Race Face cranksets. The Chris King bottom bracket includes a trio of 2.5mm aluminum spacers, although you will most likely not need them (it's designed to thread directly into your 68mm shell without spacers). Consider the spacers a gift from Chris King, and use them on your mountain bike. The aluminum cups of the Chris King Bottom Bracket house 24 stainless steel balls in each of the made-in-house cartridge bearings. They are user serviceable with the Chris King Grease Injection Tool (available separately). Simply squirt fresh grease into the bearings to purge gunky, used grease and keep things spinning smoothly. This system has a fringe benefit for racers: It gives you the option of running a very thin grease or even oil on race day in order to minimize bearing drag. And when you're not racing, it's a snap to inject thicker grease to maximize durabilityThe Chris King Bottom Bracket weighs just 98g (cups/90g, sleeve 8g, and optional spacers/8g) and is available in Black and Red. |

Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ST-7971 Time Trial Shift Lever $479.95 One of the great advantages of going for electronic shifting is that you're not limited to having a single set of shift levers -- perfect for time trial bikes where people want to have shifters within close proximity of their fingers at all times. With the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 ST-7971 Triathlon/Time Trial Dual Control Lever, you can have your shifting and braking at the same place on your time trial rig; half of what you need to be covered for both bullhorn and aerobar shifting. This unit is a bullhorn bar-end brake lever that has shifter buttons built into the pivot. From afar, it looks like your standard bullhorn brake lever. A slender carbon-fiber lever blade attached to some sort of firm housing that has an expander bolt behind it. In this way, the ST-7971 sets up like any other bar-end brake lever on the market. Drop the end plug into the bar end, use an Allen key to expand the bolt and it's secure. What is different is that Shimano built their Di2 electronics into the pivot housing. There are two buttons on one side. One is for upshifting, one is for down shifting. Since this is a lever set, there are similar buttons built into the second lever as well. Here's one of the best things Shimano has done. While the buttons have been set at the factory, they can be reset at home using the Shimano Di2 Diagnostic Tool, SM-EC79. This means that the buttons are just buttons. You can set up the levers so the buttons are on the outside of the bars, or you can set them up on the inside, and either way, you'll have the rear shifting on the left and the front shifting on the right. You can use the upper button for downshifting and the lower button for upshifting or vice-versa. Shifting, by the way, feels like a mouse click. Once the levers are in, you run the wires, insert the brake cable and housing, threaded through the bars, and you go. Shimano's Flight Deck computer can also be attached to the system, as well as secondary shift pods on the aero bars. |

Unwanted gift never used, Cost 500 without accessories I'm selling for 395 with accessories including trip computer, bottle holder and bottle, pump, mud guards and helmet,or 350 with accessories.
GT was once a major bike manufacturer. They lost some of its luster over the years are not as prevalent as they once were. The bike is now owned by the holding company Dorel who also owns Schwinn, Pacific, Cannondale, Mongoose, RoadMaster amongst others.
On the trails, GT is not seen as often as it once was. In the mid-90s, GT was the bike to own.
The bike you mentioned seems like a starter bike. Acer is very low end component. Hydraulic brakes are nice (I use them), but low end hydraulics can be trouble - maybe more trouble then they are worth. I have done no research on this bike, but if its around the $300 mark, I would give it a thumbs up - although will warn you the bike may not handle hard trails well. You should expect a beginner bike should not expect it to be a high end hardtail that will withstand a lot of abuse.
