are $30 rabbit ears with an amplifier sitting on top of my first floor tv going to pick up hdtv brodcast from?
about 25 miles away--seems unlikely to me and i probably need to get a bigger antenna at least in the attic to get any real results. thanks
Yes, you can use an antenna to pick up your tv stations, but with rabbit ears, I don't think that you will be able to get stations further away than 20 miles. If you could install a roof antenna, would be much better. When you use an over the air antenna, you will be able to get your stations in high definition, for free. I know this, because I just bought a new hdtv, and it said in the manual. I do have cable though, because I am much to far away from my nearest tv station, to use an antenna..Good Luck..
