i plan to buy it and mod it to increase range as much as possible maybe 5-10 miles or more.
it will have live video feed back so i can fly it with out visually looking at the plane.
main reason is for aerial photography of the city the sea and etc,
but most of all because im...bored.
and for safety feature i plan to add gps and auto pilot and auto landing so if it gets out of range it wont crash on people.

Yup very very expensive in-deed im saving it for later.
You probably won't get shot down, but you'll be in a whole lotta doo doo if you fly in Restricted Air Space. The precise restrictions on Air Space in your vicinity can be found out by contacting your closest Airport.
Many years ago I built a Delta Kite with a 20 foot wing span, attached it to a 300 pound line and a small motorized wheel. Twenty minutes after it commenced it's Maiden Flight to 1,000 feet, a Helicopter from the Local Airport Authority landed on the Oval where I was flying. Out stepped two guys with guns (holstered) and suggested that I fly below 500 feet to avoid Radar interference.
