I consider typed journals blogs (& they're usually for people who want to share their writings w/ the world), but other than that typing out a journal on MS Office wouldn't make it a journal! If you were to type it out, then I suggest doing so on MS Publisher because you can add neat designs and do all of this other stuff. A really good idea would be to make a few entries on MS Publisher and print them out and pin them into your journal (if it's big enough). But that should be for say special occasions like christmas, b-day, etc.

I say you should go with written. It is a lot more personal, and it's just tradition. Nothing is better than opening up your old, dusty journal to reveal your past writings on its yellowish pages. You can always put stickers and other things on the pages, and write in different pen colors too. Not to mention journals come in all designs now so it would be pretty cool to write in an Italian leather journal.It seems like you're for writing it out, and don't worry about having nothing to write, that happens to all of us at some point in time.
